6.ซิปเซต
ถือได้ว่าเป็นมีความสำคัญ เพราะทำหน้าที่ควบคุมการทำงานต่างๆบนเมนบอร์ด โดยจะมีซิปเซตอยู่ 2 ส่วนด้วยกันคือ
- North Bridge จะทำหน้าที่คอบควบคุม ซีพียู แรม และการ์ดแสดงผล
- South Bridge จะทำหน้าที่ควบคุมสล็อตต่างๆ
7.หัวต่อ SATA
ซึ่งใช้ในการเชื่อมต่อฮาร์ดดิสก์ แบบ SATA ซึ่งเป็นการเชื่อมต่อแบบอนุกรม ซึ่งมีข้อดีทั้งประหยัดพลังงานและประหยัดพื้นที่ อีกทั้งยังทำให้ระบายความร้อนภายในเคสได้ดีอีกด้วย
